Hello everyone. I am using Ubuntu 11.10. I tried installing F# from its Debian package, but the installation failed with the following error:

/home/missingfaktor/Downloads/fsharp_2.0-1_all.deb: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
/home/missingfaktor/Downloads/fsharp_2.0-1_all.deb: line 1: `!<arch>'

Any solutions?

When I run install-bonus.sh I get an error saying

./install-bonus.sh: 28: Syntax error: "(" unexpected (expecting "}")

The offending line appears to be:

declare -a DIRS=("${!3}")

That means nothing to me (I'm an MS Windows user trying to learn Linux) but if it's any help I'm running it from the KUbuntu konsole bash shell.

What am I doing wrong?
